Children and individuals with CACNA1C-related disorders including Timothy Syndrome and LongQT8 desperately need early diagnosis, treatment and care.
Variants in the CACNA1C gene are the cause of CACNA1C-related disorders including Timothy Syndrome and LongQT8. This gene is expressed in every cell of the body, hence the wide range of symptoms.
